Stephen Becker is one of the Founding Partners of Applied Economics Consulting Group, Inc. He has led assignments in a broad spectrum of industries, including Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, and Insurance.
Prior to establishing Applied Economics (and its predecessor, Becker & Associates), Stephen was a member of the strategy practice of Booz-Allen & Hamilton. He holds a BSE in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar. He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a Sord Scholar and received the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence. Stephen received his Ph.D. in Public Policy from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.
Stephen is a member of the American Economic Association, the American Finance Association, and the American Law & Economics Association, the Licensing Executives Society, and an associate member of the American Bar Association.
