Rob is a Consultant with Applied Economics Consulting Group. Prior to joining AECGI, he was an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, where he taught and conducted research on topics related corporate finance, markets, and real estate financing and investment. An expert in the field, his research has been published in peer-reviewed academic journals such as The Journal of Corporate Finance. He is a member of the American Finance Association and the Financial Management Association.
Prior to his academic career, Rob worked in commercial real estate acquisitions and investment banking operations for syndicated loan products. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Rochester, an M.S. in Applied Economics from the University of Rochester, an M.B.A. from Oxford University, and a B.B.A. (Finance) from Concordia University Texas.
